Filming tips for your day
We only use the best. Our Panasonic 4K camcorders are professional quality, effortlessly simple to use — with clear step-by-step instructions in every kit, so anyone can pick one up and start filming (yes, even Nana).
The Golden Rules
-
Hold the camera still
Some panning shots are fine but instead of constantly moving the camera around, hold the shot still for 5–10 seconds. These clips look far more cinematic and give us beautiful footage to edit. Imagine you're taking a video version of a photo.
-
Move slowly, film longer
If you are moving, walk slowly, pan slowly, zoom slowly. Slow movement always looks better than quick movement. Instead of recording for 2 seconds, record for 8–15 seconds. Longer clips give us much more flexibility during editing.

Ceremony Positioning Tips
- Sit on the aisle. You'll get the best view as the bride walks down the aisle.
- Stand on the groom's side. You'll naturally capture the bride's face throughout the ceremony.
- During the signing, swap to the opposite side. You'll then capture both bride and groom.
